Dare To Dream Dare To Soar
Are You Living Your Dream?
If your answer is no, then we want to ask “why not? Life is way to short, and you never know when it may come to an end.
So what’s holding you back? What are you afraid of? Are you afraid of making a mistake (or two)? Are you afraid you may not be good enough? Are you afraid of making the wrong choice? And what if the people around you laugh at your dreams, or don’t support you? Is that really enough for you just to give up?
Or are you afraid of what happens if you do end up living your dreams? Afraid that once you get there then you’ll have to live them? Meaning what you’ve talked about for so long may now come to fruition and you might not succeed? Or you may discover you didn’t dream big enough?
Fear is the number 1 reason that people do not live their dreams. Fear holds us back, sometimes even paralyzing us, and ultimately preventing us from moving forward. But, when you look back at your life, what do you it to be about? Do you want to say, “I could have” or “I did”? The choice is yours to make, but what words do YOU want to come out of your mouth?
The ONLY thing holding you back is YOU!
Decide to live your dream today!
Do you even remember what your dream is??
Each person, at some stage in their life, has had a dream or fantasy of doing or becoming something… a young boy may dream about becoming a fireman when he grows up, a little girl may dream of becoming a famous singer, someone else may dream of becoming an astronaut, or perhaps writing a best-selling novel, becoming a doctor, living somewhere faraway, travelling the world, learning to play the piano, or even performing in a symphony orchestra, sailing around the world in a yacht, reaching their ideal weight and fitness level, have their own business, having a six-figure income working for themself, living in a large house overlooking the river, travelling to Europe…
Dreams and fantasies are both healthy and normal.
Dreams provide us:
- with something positive, meaningful and constructive to think about
- a place in our mind to go when we need a break, or when we are stressed or bored
- a reason to do certain things such as learn special skills, get a good paying job with very good feelings when we visit our dreams
Many people, however, lose sight of their dreams for lots of reasons:
- we may be told that our dreams will never happen, that they are impossible to achieve, and unrealistic to even consider
- others have plans for us which are so different to what our dream is
- we may be so busy with responsibilities and commitments that we neither have the time nor energy to think about or visit our dream
- we may feel that our dreams are unimportant.

| It must be borne in mind that the tragedy of life does not lie in not reaching your goals, No, The tragedy of life lies in having no goals to reach. It is not a calamity to die with dreams unfilled, but it is a calamity not to dream. It is not a disaster to be unable to capture your ideals, but it is a disaster to have no ideals to capture. It is not a disgrace to not reach the stars, but it is a disgrace to have no stars to reach for.Not failure, but low aim, is a sin.”- Dr. Benjamin Elijah Mayes, president of Morehouse College.“You’ve got to dream big dreams, impossible dreams; dreams that will make a difference, leave a legacy and a dream that will be your opus, your reason for coming to this planet.”
